Center for Hope: Who We Are

Remote video URL

Center for Hope exists so that no one faces violence, abuse or trauma alone. We bring together prevention, crisis response, intervention and advocacy so every person can find a path to healing. We offer a welcoming place for anyone seeking support, including survivors of child abuse, domestic violence and gun violence, as well as caregivers and professionals working to keep others safe.

Our work is grounded in the belief that violence is a public health issue, not a single event. It affects physical health, mental well-being, families and whole neighborhoods. So, services are designed to meet people where they are.

Support can begin at a hospital bedside after an incident, continue through counseling and recovery, and extend into training that helps reduce future harm.

Who We Work With

Individuals, Families and Communities

If you or someone you care about has been affected by violence, help is available. Center for Hope provides immediate and long-term support for people of all ages, including survivors of child abuse, domestic violence (also known as intimate partner violence), gun violence and sexual assault.

Professionals

Many professionals encounter violence or trauma in their work. If you are a first responder, healthcare provider, attorney or youth serving organization, we offer training and consultation to support effective, trauma-informed care.

Government Leaders and Community Partners

Center for Hope partners with public agencies, nonprofit organizations and community leaders. Together, we work to prevent violence, strengthen coordinated responses and expand access to support across communities.
