Intimate relationships are meant to be sources of trust, respect and safety. But for too many people, those same spaces can become places of fear and control.

Intimate partner violence, often referred to as domestic violence, doesn’t always leave visible scars. It can take many forms—physical harm, emotional abuse, psychological manipulation or financial control. At its core, this violence is about one person exerting power over another.

At LifeBridge Health, we see the profound impact this has on individuals, families and communities. This Domestic Violence Awareness Month, we join the Domestic Violence Awareness Project in standing with survivors and reaffirming our commitment to raising awareness, honoring those we’ve lost and ensuring help is always within reach.

Get Involved This October

There are many ways to join our teams in this commitment. Throughout the month, Center for Hope and our hospital-based violence response teams are leading efforts across the system to raise awareness, connect survivors to resources and bring communities together in solidarity:

If you’re so inclined, you can also support survivors by making a monetary donation. Every contribution helps provide stability and comfort for those moving forward from violence.
