Testimonials

Firsthand testimonials from Inpatient Rehabilitation Hospital patients, submitted through our post-discharge patient experience survey.

The team functioned impressively, and were friendly, respectful and very helpful to me and my family. I've highly recommended the whole unit to my current health care provider.

The doctor visited me every day to ensure my pain was being managed and kept a close eye on my leg for swelling. Thank you!

You have some exceptional nurses... always went beyond what was required to assure your wellbeing and comfort.

Training given to my family was helpful & made us feel more confident about my coming home.

    Our Interdisciplinary Team

    Physical Therapist (PT)

Physical therapists help restore movement, coordination and balance through carefully planned exercises tailored to each person. This approach improves full-body motion, strength and control during daily activities. It can help with moving from one position to another, walking and upright tasks like standing or reaching, while also rebuilding confidence.

    Occupational Therapist (OT)

Occupational therapists help people improve physical, cognitive and visual perceptual skills that impact their ability to perform daily tasks. They focus on helping patients get back to activities of daily living (ADLs) like bathing, using the bathroom, grooming and preparing meals. Occupational therapists also assess each person's needs to support a successful return to self-care, home management and community involvement.

    Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)

Speech-language pathologists help patients express themselves, speak clearly, understand language, read and write. They also work on cognitive-linguistic (thinking) skills, including attention, memory, problem-solving, reasoning and organization. SLPs can also help with swallowing and recommend the safest diet for each person.

    Rehabilitation Psychologist

Rehabilitation psychologists provide support and counseling during rehabilitation. They teach coping skills, help with adjustment concerns and support recovery by focusing on each person’s emotional and mental well-being.

    Patients and Families!

Consistent participation from patients and families is essential to a successful recovery from illness or injury. Our team encourages and relies on patients and their loved ones to stay actively involved and bring the courage, dedication and hard work needed for success.
