Sinai Rehabilitation Center hosts an array of outpatient options for rehabilitative care. From physical therapy to occupational therapy, speech pathology, neuropsychology and more, our specialists are dedicated to improving patients’ lives.

PROGRAMS AND SERVICES

Physical Therapy

Our physical therapy professionals are enthusiastic about improving patients’ lives and fully equipped to help restore function, motor control and mobility. 

Occupational Therapy

Our experts offer individualized occupational therapy to assist patients with regaining the skills they need to perform functional tasks and activities of daily living (ADLs) including dressing, grooming and cooking.

Speech Pathology

The speech pathologists at Sinai Rehabilitation Center help treat patients experiencing issues with expressing and understanding language as well as those experiencing swallowing disorders.

Women’s Health Rehabilitation

The Sinai Rehabilitation Center offers physical therapy services for the specific needs of women and all others requiring obstetric and gynecological (OB/GYN) care.

Neurological Rehabilitation

We offer a full continuum of care for a broad range of injuries and conditions affecting patients’ brains, with both inpatient and day treatment services available. 

RETURN! Brain Injury Community Re-entry Program

This intensive neurorehabilitation program offers approximately nine weeks of daily treatment designed to help patients regain the functionality needed to return to work, school or responsibilities at home.

RETURN! To Work Vocational Re-Entry Program

This program helps provide vocational services to adults who’ve sustained brain injury, offering the rehabilitative care, competitive placement and ongoing support needed for returning to the workforce.

Mild Brain Injury Program

From pre-surgery to recovery, Advanced Orthopedic Therapy at Sinai Rehab Center provides integration of care for knee replacement patients.

Sports Concussion Program

With an integrated approach to care and a multidisciplinary team of clinicians, this program provides field-leading rehabilitative care for athletes who’ve sustained concussions.

Advanced Orthopedic Therapy

Advanced Orthopedic Therapy offers inpatient and outpatient physical and occupational therapy for pediatric and adult patients. 

Foot Orthotics Program

Using cutting-edge foot pressure scanning technology, Sinai Rehabilitation Center develops custom-printed foot orthotics to help correct patients’ abnormal walking patterns.

Running Injury Program

Bringing together innovative technology and specialized expertise, Sinai Rehabilitation Center provides care and assessment to help runners recover, improve their skills and avoid injury.

Limb Lengthening

Advanced Orthopedic Therapy at Sinai Rehabilitation Center offers specialized care for treating children and adults undergoing surgery for limb lengthening, limb deformity correction and related conditions. 

Integrated Rehabilitation for Total Knee Replacement

From pre-surgery to recovery, Advanced Orthopedic Therapy at Sinai Rehab Center provides integration of care for knee replacement patients.

Wasserman Gait Laboratory

As the only facility of its kind in the United States, this laboratory is used to assess the subtle, dynamic aspects of patients’ walking disorders, helping determine the most effective treatment methods.

Comprehensive Outpatient Rehabilitation Program (CORP)

Through this program, patients can undergo evaluation for wheelchairs and other mobility devices best suited to their unique needs as well as receive treatment for lymphedema.

Wheelchair Assessment Service

Through this service, patients receive evaluation to determine the best device to restore mobility for activities of daily of living, typically power wheelchairs and scooters.

Lymphedema Services

We provide multi-disciplinary treatment to address lymphedema, a condition which results in abnormal accumulation of fluids in the body’s tissue.

Limb Loss Rehabilitation

With a compassionate, patient-centered approach, our clinicians offer specialized care for both partial and complete upper and lower extremity limb loss.

Chronic Pain Program

Our pain treatment professionals assess and treat patients experiencing long-term pain which exceeds the normal recovery time for the illness or injury with which they’ve been diagnosed.

Driving Evaluation and Training Program

This program helps promote safe and independent driving for patients who’ve experienced conditions inhibiting their ability to do so.

Ergonomic Assessment

Sinai Rehabilitation Center offers ergonomic assessments to help address issues of posture, pain and overuse symptoms and determine the best ways for patients to improve body mechanics during daily activities.

Vestibular, Dizziness, Concussion and Balance Program

Sinai Rehabilitation Center offers personalized physical therapy treatments for vestibular conditions, helping improve symptoms related to dizziness and balance.

Neuropsychology Evaluations

Our rehabilitation psychologists help patients recognize both problems and strengths related to their differences, building self-esteem and improving overall patient outcomes.

Neuromuscular Electrical Stimulation Therapy for Swallowing

At Sinai Rehabilitation Center, our experienced speech-language pathologists develop and administer personalized treatment programs to improve patients’ ability to swallow.
