Description and Goals Of Course: |
The Neurology Division is active in patient care, teaching and research. The student participates actively in our hospital consultation service and out-patient clinics. Neuroscience physicians, physician assistants, and nurse practitioners, are part of the clinical team. There are weekly Neuroscience Conferences with a different specialty focus each day.
Our goals are to improve neurologic examination and diagnostic skills of the student. We offer an intensive experience with a proven track record for student teaching |

The minimum requirements for acceptance for this elective are a medical school cumulative grade point average of 3.0 (on a 4.0 scale) and a USMLE Step 1 score of 210 or a COMLEX score of 510 and completion of the Basic Medicine Clerkship. |
