Nurse (RN)

Registered nurses work with your doctor to manage medical problems. They help manage pain, medication and skin care. Nurses also assist with personal hygiene, mobility, food intake and bowel and bladder management.

Patient Care Associate (PCA)

The patient care associate is a certified nursing assistant who supports the nurse by tending to the patient's personal care needs.

Administrative Assistant (AA)

The administrative assistant supports daily unit operations, including greeting patients and visitors, answering phones and call bells and other administrative tasks.

Occupational Therapist (OT)

Occupational therapists help people improve physical, cognitive and visual perceptual skills that impact their ability to perform daily tasks. They focus on helping patients get back to activities of daily living (ADLs) like bathing, using the bathroom, grooming and preparing meals. Occupational therapists also assess each person's needs to support a successful return to self-care, home management and community involvement.

Physical Therapist (PT)

Physical therapists help improve a person’s mobility, strength and balance. They focus on restoring one’s ability to get out of bed, change positions, walk, use the stairs and perform other mobility tasks needed in the home setting.

Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)

Speech-language pathologists help patients express themselves, speak clearly, understand language, read and write. They also work on cognitive-linguistic (thinking) skills, including attention, memory, problem-solving, reasoning and organization. SLPs can also help with swallowing and recommend the safest diet for each person.

Rehabilitation Assistant (RA)

The rehabilitation assistant supports the therapy team by maintaining the therapy environment and assisting with treatment interventions.

Social Worker (SW)

The social worker provides emotional and logistical support to patients and families during the rehabilitation stay. They coordinate discharge planning, address financial or equipment needs and help arrange follow-up services.

Rehabilitation Psychologist

Our rehabilitation psychologist provides support and counseling during a patient’s rehabilitation stay. They teach coping skills, help with adjustment concerns and support recovery by focusing on each person’s emotional and mental well-being.

Patients and Families!

Consistent participation from patients and families is essential to a successful recovery from illness or injury. Our team encourages and relies on patients and their loved ones to stay actively involved and bring the courage, dedication and hard work needed for success.
