Limb Lengthening

At Advanced Orthopedic Therapy at Sinai Rehab Center, we specialize in physical therapy for children and adults undergoing limb lengthening and deformity correction.

We treat conditions such as Achondroplasia, congenital femur deficiency, fibular and tibial hemimelia, and Legg-Calve-Perthes disease, including care for patients with internal lengthening nails and external fixators. Our highly trained pediatric and orthopedic therapists provide individualized, one-on-one treatment up to five days per week in a child-friendly environment designed to support both rehabilitation and connection with other families.

For Pediatric Patients

The Pediatric Program gym provides patients with a child-friendly atmosphere with activities such as crafts, toys, movies, and gaming systems. Our patients also benefit from forming bonds with other children undergoing similar orthopedic procedures.

The clinic is located in the same building as the International Center for Limb Lengthening. Housing is available at the Hackerman-Patz House for children and their families with extended stays. Tutoring can be arranged through Baltimore City Schools, if necessary.
