Taste of Carroll Returns April 27 to Celebrate Food, Community and BridgingLife Heroes
ELDERSBURG, MD - One of Carroll County’s most anticipated culinary events is back. Taste of Carroll presented by M&T Bank, the annual fundraiser supporting BridgingLife Hospice and Palliative Care, returns Monday, April 27, 2026, at Stratosphere Social in Eldersburg for an evening of exceptional food, gaming entertainment and heartfelt recognition of those who provide comfort when it matters most.
The event will feature more than 40 of the region’s top restaurants, caterers and beverage vendors, offering a range of dishes from inventive hors d’oeuvres and tapas to signature entrées, handcrafted drinks and confectionary favorites. Guests will enjoy music, gaming and photo ops throughout the evening, creating a lively atmosphere in support of a meaningful cause.
While known for its food and networking, the heart of Taste of Carroll is honoring the individuals who make BridgingLife’s mission possible. Through its BridgingLife Heroes program, the organization recognizes volunteers, team members and a community supporter whose compassion and dedication bring comfort to patients and families navigating end-of-life care.
This year, 11 BridgingLife Heroes will be honored for their extraordinary service. These individuals provide far more than assistance—they create moments of connection and peace, whether sitting bedside in quiet companionship, helping patients share their stories through legacy projects, or offering emotional and spiritual support during and after hours.
Taste of Carroll also serves as a vital fundraiser. This year’s fundraising goal of $304,000 reflects strong support for compassionate end-of-life services. An online silent auction launched Wednesday, April 22, giving participants a chance to bid on items and experiences, even if they cannot attend in person. New this year, attendees can enjoy an interactive wayfinding game with opportunities to collect tickets and win raffle prizes.
Proceeds directly support BridgingLife Hospice and Palliative Care, helping ensure patients and families receive the comfort, dignity and support they deserve.
The event is smart-casual. Tickets are $150 per person and are on sale now. Sponsorships are also available. For more information, visit www.tasteofcarroll.org.
