LifeBridge Health Expands Access to Care Across Maryland with New ExpressCare Urgent Care Locations in Federal Hill and Hyattsville
LifeBridge Health is making it easier for Maryland families to access convenient, high-quality care with two new ExpressCare Urgent Care locations, including a new center opening August 5 in Baltimore's Federal Hill neighborhood and a recently opened location in Hyattsville.
The Federal Hill location will open at 835 E Fort Ave, Baltimore, MD 21230 in the Southside Marketplace, serving residents of Federal Hill, Riverside and Locust Point. The new 6,600-square-foot center occupies the space formerly home to Berkshire Hathaway, HomeServices and PenFed Realty. The addition of ExpressCare Urgent Care to Federal Hill is part of continued redevelopment activity at Southside Marketplace, which has recently added new retail, dining and service tenants.
The Federal Hill facility will be open seven days a week from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m., offering treatment for minor injuries and illnesses, preoperative physicals as well as on-site diagnostic capabilities such as lab testing including same-day STD testing and X-rays.
The Hyattsville location (3106 Queens Chapel Road, Hyattsville, MD 20782), which opened in late spring, expands LifeBridge Health’s presence in Prince George's County and provides residents throughout the greater Washington metropolitan area with another convenient option for same-day urgent care. Its hours are also 8 a.m. – 9 p.m.
Quote from Jonathan Thierman, M.D.
Our continued growth reflects a simple mission: making exceptional urgent care more accessible for every community we serve. By expanding our footprint to more than 35 locations across Maryland, we’re ensuring patients and families have convenient access to high-quality care without having to travel far from home.
The Federal Hill and Hyattsville locations are just the latest in ExpressCare’s recent expansion. In 2025, ExpressCare opened three new facilities in Hagerstown, James Run (Harford County) and Quarry Lake (Baltimore County), which also includes ExpressCare Wellness Center that offers GLP-1s, hormone replacement and other therapies.
Wellness Services will begin at Federal Hill in October. For more information, go to: goexpresscare.com
