39 LifeBridge Health Nurses Named Among Baltimore Magazine’s 2026 Excellence in Nursing Honorees
Thirty-nine LifeBridge Health nurses are being honored by Baltimore magazine in May for their outstanding contributions to healthcare.
The “Excellence in Nursing” feature recognizes nurses who go above and beyond for their patients, support their colleagues and make a meaningful impact in their communities.
Candidates may be nominated by colleagues, supervisors, patients, friends or family members, with self-nominations also accepted. A panel of advisors retained by Baltimore magazine reviews submissions and selects honorees in multiple specialty categories.
Sinai Hospital emergency department nurse Brooke Harmon has a special feature in the May issue. The editors were struck by the story in Harmon’s nomination about how she comforted a wife and mother whose 38-year-old husband was tragically killed in a cycling accident.
“Moments like that are difficult, but when I’m able to be there for someone, it reminds me why this work matters,” says Brooke.
LifeBridge Health nurses have been recognized on every “Excellence in Nursing” list since the feature’s inception in 2015. This year’s honorees continue that proud tradition, reflecting the organization’s commitment to high-quality, patient-centered care.
