Psychiatric Day Treatment at Levindale
Levindale's short-term psychiatric day treatment is an intensive program for older adults, who are experiencing behavioral and emotional difficulties that put them at risk of inpatient hospitalization, or who are transitioning back to the community after an inpatient stay. Treatment focuses on the stabilization of acute symptoms, the development of skills for managing mental health, identifying community resources and discharge planning. Patients receive services via telehealth in the comfort of their own homes, provided by a skilled team of psychiatrists, psychiatric nurse practitioners, registered nurses and social workers specializing in the older adult population.
