About the Subacute Unit

Levindale’s subacute unit offers short-term rehabilitation and skilled nursing services to help patients return to their prior level of functioning after a hospitalization.

Quality of Care

Levindale’s clinical providers are extensively trained and manage a wide array of patient needs. Our highly skilled and experienced therapists use a variety of techniques and equipment to help patients reach their individualized goals. The multidisciplinary care offered at Levindale, along with the facility’s close proximity to Sinai Hospital of Baltimore, ensures that patients can easily access specialists in cardiology, oncology and orthopedics, among other specialties.

At Levindale, we are dedicated to proactively addressing our patients’ rehabilitation needs by beginning discharge planning immediately upon admission. Our team will create an individualized care plan to ensure optimal healing and fully prepare you for the next level of care. We will offer compassionate, expert guidance and consider your family’s unique needs in helping you decide on appropriate care options such as assisted living, in-home care with or without help, and/or long-term care.
