The Neil M. Meltzer Community Impact Fund

Honor Neil’s legacy of service to LifeBridge Health by advancing his commitment to community health and well-being.

Join Us in Building a Healthier Future

LifeBridge Health is a community-based health system committed to improving lives both inside and outside our care facilities. Even as we grow and expand medical services, we remain equally focused on addressing the broader social factors that shape health and well-being—like food insecurity, access to medications and transportation, community violence and education on the benefits of preventive care.

Every day, our teams meet people where they are, providing care, education and essential resources. The Neil M. Meltzer Community Impact Fund honors our president and CEO’s dedication to this mission and our call to CARE BRAVELY—supporting health programs, outreach services and initiatives that remove barriers and strengthen communities.

With your support, we can continue building a healthier future together.

I am so proud of what we have built together - A thriving, community focused health system that puts people first.

Neil M. Meltzer

President and Chief Executive Officer, LifeBridge Health

Honoring a Leader

Neil Meltzer joined Sinai Hospital of Baltimore in 1988, beginning a decades-long commitment to expanding access to care. He held several leadership roles before becoming president and chief operating officer, then stepped into the role of CEO of LifeBridge Health in 2013. Under his leadership, LifeBridge Health has grown into one of the region’s most comprehensive health systems, now serving millions of patients each year across 130+ locations.

To reach even more members of the communities we serve and help meet their healthcare needs, Neil led the expansion of LifeBridge Health to include Carroll Hospital, Grace Medical Center, and essential services like urgent care, home health and senior living.

But his impact extends far beyond growth. Neil has led with compassion and conviction, championing bold, community-driven solutions that reflect our mission to CARE BRAVELY and do the right thing, even when it’s not the easy thing. From food insecurity and housing instability to transportation barriers and gun violence, he has challenged our system to address the underlying factors that affect well-being. His leadership has ensured that care doesn’t stop at hospital doors—it reaches into our communities, creating new pathways to better health.
