Parkinson's disease is a complex progressive neurological disorder that affects not just movement, but many other activities of daily life. Peer support and education is an important part of treatment and living your best life with this chronic condition.
Meetings feature guest speakers on a variety of Parkinson's disease-related topics. Families and caregivers of people with Parkinson's disease are also welcome to attend.

In this ongoing series for those with heart failure, join us virtually, by phone or in person in Carroll Hospital's East Pavilion (291 Stoner Ave., Westminster).
Taught by registered dietitians, pharmacists and other healthcare professionals, you'll learn more about medications, nutrition, how you can effectively manage the progression of heart failure and more. The classes are designed to empower you to create best lifestyle practices so that you can continue living an active, fulfilling life.
This class meets on the second Thursday of the month at 10 a.m. and the fourth Tuesday of the month at 1 p.m.

The Breastfeeding Support Group provides encouragement and mother-to-mother breastfeeding support as well as current, accurate and ongoing breastfeeding information.
Please bring infant ready to nurse, as the infant will be weighed, fed by mother then weighed again so that the mother will know how much the infant is transferring off the breast. Please bring diapers, baby wipes and a pillow or Boppy pillow to support self while nursing.
The group meets every Thursday, except on holidays.

Mommy & Me: Breastfeeding Support Group
Breastfeeding is a skill that each mom and baby learn together. Getting started takes practice and patience while you and your infant become comfortable with one another. Getting the support you need is critical. That's why the Lactation Team at Sinai Hospital offers Mommy and Me: New Beginnings, a support group where all can learn how to best feed your baby and share personal experiences, if desired. The breastfeeding group meets from 10 a.m. to noon on Mondays (except holidays) in the Lactation Resource Center in Sinai Hospital.
