Childbirth and the months after are complex, and you don't have to experience it alone. Join this support group for mothers within the first year after childbirth. You can connect with other moms, discuss your experiences, and learn helpful tools and resources. Whether you are stressed, experiencing baby blues or postpartum depression/anxiety, adjusting to parenting or just looking for connection, this group is for you.

The group meets every Thursday except holidays.

Breastfeeding is a skill that each mom and baby learn together. Getting started takes practice and patience while you and your infant become comfortable with one another. Getting the support you need is critical. That's why the Lactation Team at Sinai Hospital offers Mommy and Me: New Beginnings, a support group where all can learn how to best feed your baby and share personal experiences, if desired. The breastfeeding group meets from 10 a.m. to noon on Mondays (except holidays) in the Lactation Resource Center in Sinai Hospital.

Our Division Director for Pediatric Gastroenterology will review current understanding of Eosinophilic Esophagitis in pediatric patients, including pathophysiology, diagnostic criteria, and evidence-based treatment pathways. Open to anyone who is grieving the loss of a loved one. Third Wednesday of each month, 7-8 p.m. Please call 410-871-7656 to register and obtain access to this virtual group. 

The Breastfeeding Support Group provides encouragement and mother-to-mother breastfeeding support as well as current, accurate and ongoing breastfeeding information. 

Please bring infant ready to nurse, as the infant will be weighed, fed by mother then weighed again so that the mother will know how much the infant is transferring off the breast. Please bring diapers, baby wipes and a pillow or Boppy pillow to support self while nursing.

This FREE one hour class will help prepare you for a Total Joint Replacement. We will review what to expect before, during, and after a Total Joint replacement surgery. You will have an opportunity to ask questions and address any concerns.

A group for people living with cancer and their families/caregivers

This group provides an opportunity for people living with cancer and their caregivers to share strategies on dealing with cancer. Structured in a casual and inviting setting, these meetings are designed to facilitate a sense of community for those who have been affected by cancer. Walk-ins are

welcome, and attendees are invited to stay for the entire session or a portion of it.

For those who have experienced a loss during pregnancy or of a baby up to 1 year of age

The loss of an infant during or shortly after pregnancy is a traumatic experience that can lead to a range of emotions. Having a support system is very important during this time. 

During sessions, attendees have the opportunity to seek help from others, receive tips on coping and managing their grief, and share their feelings with others who have had similar experiences.

No registration is required.
