Residency Leadership
Tania Lamba, M.D.
Program Director
Dr. Tania Lamba is a board-certified ophthalmologist and glaucoma specialist at the Krieger Eye Institute and is also a Clinical Associate Professor at the George Washington University. Dr Lamba completed her residency and fellowship training at the George Washington University, where she stayed on as Faculty for 10 years prior to moving to the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Washington DC where there was an immense unmet need for glaucoma care, and she took on this challenge with empathy and compassion delivering the most up-to-date glaucoma care to the veteran population.
Anthony Castelbuono, M.D.
Associate Program Director
Dr. Castelbuono developed an interest in Ophthalmology while researching retinal cells as an undergraduate at Harvard College. He has held academic appointments at both Johns Hopkins and Dartmouth Medical Schools where he has taught numerous residents and medical students through the years.
