J.E.D.I. Champion of the Month: Sarah Elwell

The J.E.D.I. office would like to recognize Sarah Elwell for her contribution to LifeBridge Health’s justice, equity, diversity and inclusion efforts. Sarah is very supportive and encouraging to every member of her team. She checks in with everyone to make sure they are doing well mentally and emotionally, in addition to her supervision and guidance. She provides an encouraging environment for growth and gives space for everyone on her team to express their emotions. Sarah embraces the diversity of every team member and is a role model for a leader.
Q1. How long have you been with Sinai Hospital/LifeBridge Health, and what is your current role?
A. I joined LifeBridge Health in the summer of 2022. I am currently the Program Manager of Outpatient Behavioral Health Services. We have a great clinic, and I really love working with our team.
Q2. You bring so much passion into the work you do—what motivates you?
A. I am motivated by the knowledge that the work we do matters. People getting the quality care they need matters, and taking good care of the team providing that care also matters.
Q3. Since starting at Sinai Hospital/LifeBridge Health, what have you found most rewarding?
A. Building a healthier clinic that provides meaningful help to others has been the most rewarding. I am also lucky to have a really great team.
