Did you know? LifeBridge Health is led by dedicated volunteer boards that help shape the future of our health system. In addition to a systemwide board of directors, each LifeBridge Health hospital has its own board, bringing together community leaders who provide strategic guidance, oversee budgets and major initiatives, support executive leadership and champion our mission to deliver high‑quality, patient‑centered care.
Board members play an active role across the organization — attending meetings, serving on committees, supporting fundraising efforts and engaging in both health system and community events. Their expertise and commitment strengthen LifeBridge Health’s ability to serve our patients and communities with excellence.
Meet Our Board Chairs
LifeBridge Health is pleased to welcome a new slate of board chairs, each of whom has been a long‑standing contributor to our governance leadership. They join already‑installed chairs Robert Weinreich, chair of the BridgingLife Board of Trustees, and Michael McKelvin, chair of the Carroll Hospital Foundation Board.
Jeffrey Wothers, LifeBridge Health Board Chair
Since joining the LifeBridge Health Board of Directors in 2015, Jeffrey Wothers has held several leadership positions, including vice chair of the board and chair of the Audit & Compliance Committee. He first became involved with LifeBridge Health through the Carroll Hospital Board of Directors, where he also served as chair.
He is a partner at Niles, Barton & Wilmer, LLP in Baltimore, one of the oldest law firms in the United States, and he brings three decades of experience litigating on behalf of major international insurance syndicates, domestic insurance carriers and self-insureds.
“I think it is important to give back to the communities in which we live, work and raise our families. LifeBridge Health plays a critical role in these communities in many ways beyond its hospitals,” Wothers says.
“I was honored to be invited to work with this impressive system. Today, its relevance in our communities continues to expand by not only taking care of us when we are sick, but by helping to keep us well — to help us stay out of the hospitals. The opportunity to play even a small part in this is exciting and extremely gratifying.”
Pat Isaac, Northwest Hospital Board Chair
Pat Isaac has served on the Northwest Hospital Board of Directors since 2019, bringing business, healthcare, governance and community perspective to support the hospital’s mission and those it serves. Guided by trust, service, accountability and results, she is committed to advancing the work of Northwest Hospital’s physicians, nurses, staff, volunteers and leaders as they care for the community.
She is the founder and chief executive officer of Capital Services, Inc., a woman-owned national advisory firm.
“I have always believed that strong communities are built by strong organizations with people who genuinely care,” says Isaac. “Healthcare is one of the most meaningful ways we can serve others, and I was inspired to join the Northwest Hospital Board of Directors because I wanted to help support an organization whose mission makes a lasting difference in the lives of patients, families and our community every day."
“What continues to inspire me is the extraordinary dedication of our physicians, nurses, clinical teams, employees, volunteers and leaders. Trust is earned through compassion, excellence and a commitment to doing what is right for every patient, every day, and I see those values lived throughout this organization,” she says. “It is an honor to serve alongside them and help steward the organization's future, so they have the support, resources and governance needed to continue delivering exceptional care for generations to come.”
Deborah Seidel, Carroll Hospital Board Chair
Deborah Seidel has served on the Carroll Hospital Board of Directors since 2019, and she has served on the Medical Committee of the Board and the Capital Fund Committee. She served one year on the LifeBridge Health Board of Directors until July 1, when she became an ex-officio member and chair of the Carroll Hospital board.
She worked for more than three decades in financial services before retiring as vice president of T. Rowe Price Group.
“Carroll Hospital and LifeBridge Health serve several important roles in our community. The hospital and LifeBridge Health’s network of health services, such as physician groups, ExpressCare, emergency services, physical therapy and hospice, provide high-quality, individualized healthcare to our residents,” says Seidel. "Carroll Hospital is also one of the largest employers in our community, providing opportunities for residents to live and work in Carroll County, while also bringing highly educated medical professionals to the county.
“As a long-term resident of Westminster, having a high-quality hospital and vibrant network of health services benefits me and other Carroll County residents. Participating as a board member gives me the opportunity to represent the community in ensuring that the hospital and LifeBridge Health maintain and advance these health services.”
Keith Attman, Levindale Board Chair
Keith Attman has served on the Levindale Board since 2010, and he has been a member of several committees, including the LifeBridge Health Budget & Finance Committee, the LifeBridge Health Partners Committee (vice chair) and the LifeBridge Health Development Committee.
Keith is senior vice president of supply chain at Acme Paper and Supply Company, one of the largest wholesale suppliers in the Mid-Atlantic region of food service packaging, restaurant equipment and supply, janitorial equipment and supplies, and more.
“My commitment to LifeBridge Health is deeply personal. With multiple generations of my family born at Sinai Hospital, LifeBridge Health has long been part of my family’s story and connection to the community,” says Attman. “Serving as a board member provides an opportunity to support an organization that delivers exceptional care and meaningful outcomes for so many individuals and families. What continues to motivate my involvement is the lasting impact LifeBridge Health has on the communities it serves and the opportunity to help advance its mission for future generations.”
Jessica Kahn, Sinai Hospital Board Chair
Jessica Kahn has served on the board of Sinai Hospital, where she and her family have a long history, since 2020. She brings a master’s degree in public health from Tulane University; more than 30 years of healthcare experience in local, state and federal settings; and a deep appreciation for the communities that Sinai Hospital and Grace Medical Center serve in Baltimore.
“Both of my daughters were born at Sinai Hospital, and after living in Baltimore for 23 years, serving on the board is a meaningful way to give back to a community that has given so much to my family,” says Kahn.
“I've spent my career working to improve healthcare in the United States, so I'm passionate about the mission of both Sinai Hospital and Grace Medical Center and grateful for the opportunity to contribute my experience in support of that mission. What continues to inspire me is the impact these organizations and their amazing staff have on improving the health and well-being of our community every day.”
