Celebrating 63 Years of Heart, Service and Dedication
In every organization, there are people whose impact isn’t measured by titles or spotlight moments, but by the steady presence they bring each day. At the Rehabilitation Institute at Sinai, Barbara is that presence.
This May, Barbara marks an extraordinary milestone: 63 years of service. Her journey began in 1963 in Accounting and Patient Billing for Sinai Hospital’s rehabilitation department—years before it would grow into the Institute it is today.
Over time, Barbara’s role evolved alongside the organization. Today, as Supervisor of Computer Systems, she continues to support the teams who deliver care by ensuring that the systems they rely on run smoothly.
Barbara’s work may not always take center stage, but its impact is felt across the Institute—in the smooth flow of daily operations, in the trust her colleagues place in her, and in the legacy she continues to build with every thoughtful action.
Since its founding in 1965, the Rehabilitation Institute at Sinai (formerly Sinai Rehabilitation Center) has grown into a comprehensive therapy network. Its services span acute care, an inpatient rehabilitation hospital and several specialized outpatient programs.
Through decades of change and growth, Barbara has remained a constant, supporting care teams and, in turn, the patients they serve.
Please join us in celebrating Barbara’s remarkable journey and in thanking her for showing us, every single day, what it means to CARE BRAVELY.
