When you are injured in an accident, you can rest assured that the Rubin Institute for Advanced Orthopedics
trauma team will provide you with the comprehensive orthopedic treatment that you need to recover as fully and
quickly as possible. Our orthopedic trauma physicians treat musculoskeletal system trauma—injuries to the bones,
joints, tendons, ligaments, nerves and muscles that work together for the body to move. A member of our
orthopedic surgery trauma team is on call 24-7.
The state-of-the-art Trauma Center at Sinai Hospital is one of just four Level II trauma centers in
Maryland and a national leader in the care of trauma patients. Our orthopedic trauma physicians help to heal
fractured bones and restore the alignment of
joint surfaces after patients suffer injuries—most-often sustained from a car accident or serious fall.
Patients who have been diagnosed with a fracture in any urgent care center or emergency department can arrange
for an appointment with one of our trauma specialists by calling 410-601-2663.
Want to skip the line at the emergency room? We also have OrthoCare ASAP: an orthopedic walk-in clinic where no appointment or referral is needed (unless required by your insurance). The walk-in clinic treats patients of all ages and is open Monday through Friday 8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. at LifeBridge Health at Foundry Row in Owings Mills. Our walk-in clinic providers can treat patients of all ages with sports, bone, joint or muscle injuries, fractures and dislocations, strains and sprains, and joint and tendon pain, but if you are unable to walk, we do recommend seeking care at an emergency room. We also have a pediatric fracture clinic with same or next day appointment availability five days a week at Sinai
Hospital and on Mondays and Thursdays at Foundry Row in Owings Mills. Our team includes doctors with advanced fellowship
training in trauma and advanced training in pediatric orthopedics. To make an appointment with our expert
pediatric orthopedic team, please call 410-601-2663.
