Observership
Advanced Orthopedic Therapy at Sinai Rehab Center offers a three-month orthopedic rehabilitation observership for international physiotherapists. The focus of this three-month fellowship will be on observing treatments in the clinic and focused teaching with one on one mentoring from our expert clinicians.
Fellows will have the opportunity to gain first-hand knowledge in multiple areas including:
- Specialized rehabilitation for joint replacements
- Customized bracing and casting
- Blood Flow Restriction Therapy for improving muscle performance
- Trigger point dry needling
- Running movement and analysis for athletes
- Spinal assessments and manipulative therapy
- Wasserman Gait Laboratory specializing in 3D gait, and musculoskeletal modeling
- Specialized pediatric therapy including internal and external limb lengthening methods
- Foot evaluation and orthotic design
Cost of the fellowship is $6,000. Scholarships are available for exceptional candidates. Candidates are responsible for their transportation, lodging, and boarding. Hostel type accommodation is available upon request, located across the street from the clinic. Candidates must furnish 2 reference letters, proof of medical insurance, and immunizations.
