LifeBridge Health’s Robert I. Damie Race for Our Kids Uses Fun and Fitness to Enhance the Lives of Children Facing Adversity and Their

What:              You are invited to join us for the annual Robert I. Damie Race for Our Kids on October 8, 2023, at The Maryland Zoo in Baltimore. All proceeds from this event benefit the Herman & Walter Samuelson Children's Hospital at Sinai, Rubin Institute for Advanced Orthopedics Save-A-Limb Fund, Center for Hope and this year’s newest beneficiary, The Family Tree.

There are professionally managed and timed 5K and 10K road races, as well as the Brent A. Rosenberg One Mile Family Walk sponsored by The Family Tree. There is something for everyone from the elite runner to the novice weekend warrior to young families.

Following the races, there is a post-event celebration with family activities, face painting and games for kids. It’s a morning filled with lots of laughs and smiles, including patients and families reconnecting with caregivers.

More than 800 participants have registered, already raising more than $200,000 to benefit these programs that help thousands of children each year. All registered participants receive complimentary zoo admission following the event.

Due to construction in the parking area at the zoo, participants are asked to arrive 15-20 minutes early to ensure they make it to the starting line on time!
