Pension
You have a pension benefit if you meet one of the following criteria:
- Sinai Non-Union employees
- Those hired into a benefit eligible position prior to July 1, 2018 were immediately eligible to enter the plan
- Those hired into a benefit-eligible position on or after July 1, 2018 are eligible to enter the plan after two years of service with at least 1,000 credited hours
- Sinai Union employees
- Levindale Non-Union employees who were employed in a benefit-eligible position prior to January 1, 2012
- Carroll Hospital employees who were employed in a benefit-eligible position prior to January 1, 2007

Qualified Life Events
If you experience a qualified IRS family status change mid-year, you are permitted to make a change within 30 days of the event. If the change request is not completed within 30 days of the event, you will not be able to change your elections until the following year’s benefits annual enrollment period or you experience another qualified life event. You can submit your qualified life event and complete your benefit enrollment changes on our benefits platform at www.LBHBenefits.com.
