Sinai Hospital Rated in Top Category in U.S. News & World Report’s List of “Best Hospitals for Maternity Care”
Baltimore, MD –Sinai Hospital of Baltimore was recently recognized again by U.S. News & World Report as one of the country’s “Best Hospitals for Maternity Care.”
The team at Sinai Hospital earned a “High Performing” rating, the highest level of achievement in this second annual edition of rankings in this category by U.S. News.
Sinai Hospital was one of only five hospitals in the State of Maryland to earn this prestigious recognition. Sinai also earned this recognition in 2021.

The U.S. News Best Hospitals for Maternity Care evaluation looks at hospital data relating to five different factors: scheduled early deliveries, C-section rates in low-risk women, newborn complications, rate of exclusive breast milk feeding, and option for vaginal births after prior cesarean birth.
In the past year, Sinai Hospital teams delivered more than 1,700 babies.
