Carroll Health Group Expands Care with Addition of Physicians from Rubin Institute for Advanced Orthopedics
Carroll Health Group Orthopaedics welcomes the addition of orthopaedists Robert Saltzman, M.D., Erica Gaertner, M.D., and Brian Cho, M.D., to their expert team of providers. In partnership with the Rubin Institute for Advanced Orthopedics (RIAO), these physicians will bring the advanced, high-quality treatment provided at RIAO to patients in Carroll County.
The Rubin Institute for Advanced Orthopedics is a part of LifeBridge Health with some of the world's most-renowned orthopedic surgeons who provide state-of-the-art orthopedic treatment for both children and adults.
Brian Cho, M.D., is a hand and upper extremity surgeon. He received his medical degree from Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine in Richmond, Virginia. He completed his residency at Johns Hopkins University and the R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore, Maryland. He also completed his fellowship at Harborview Medical Center in Seattle, Washington.
Erica Gaertner, M.D., specializes in sports medicine and has experience in internal medicine. She received her medical degree from St. George's University School of Medicine in Grenada. She completed her residency at MedStar Health in Baltimore, Maryland and her fellowship at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Dr. Gaertner is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine.
Robert M. Saltzman, M.D., received his medical degree from the University of Maryland School of Medicine in Baltimore, Maryland. He completed his residency at Boston University School of Medicine in Boston, Massachusetts and is certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery.
