LifeBridge Health Now Allowing One Visitor Per Patient Per Day at Hospitals Health System Policy Takes Effect February 22, 2021

Baltimore, MD - In keeping with the order from Maryland Governor Larry Hogan, LifeBridge Health hospitals are now permitting one visitor per day for each patient with some exceptions. This new policy is effective Monday, February 22, 2021:
- Patients, who are not under investigation for COVID-19 or who are not COVID-positive, may have one designated visitor/support person PER DAY.
- Emergency Department patients may have one visitor (except COVID positive or potential COVID patients)
- All visitors will be screened for flu-like symptoms and will not be allowed to visit the hospital if symptoms exist.
- Surgical patients and outpatients will be permitted one visitor for the full duration of their stay.
- Visitors MUST wear a mask. However, cloth masks are not allowed. A mask will be provided if visitors do not have one.
- Visitors must follow social distancing practices in all areas of the hospitals including waiting rooms
- No visitors under age 18 are allowed unless they are the parent of a child in the hospital. This includes waiting rooms and other public areas.
- Patients, who are not COVID-positive and at end of life, may have two family members at bedside.
- COVID-positive patients, who are at the end of life, have a one-time only exception of two visitors.
- No visitors will be allowed for behavioral health patients.
Visiting hours are noon (12 p.m.) until 8 p.m. Please follow these procedures to ensure the safety of our patients, team members and other visitors. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation

These changes affect Sinai Hospital, Northwest Hospital, Levindale, Carroll Hospital and Grace Medical Center
One other note: Levindale and Northwest Hospital's Sub-Acute Unit will continue to follow the Governor's order and regulations of Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) and the Maryland Department of Health for long-term care communities.
