For more than 105 years, Frederick Memorial Hospital (FMH) has been caring for the health care needs of an ever-growing community. Today, Frederick Memorial Hospital is a private, nonprofit, 264-bed facility, offering the latest advances in diagnostic capabilities and state-of-the-art treatment protocols, including: 
  • Emergency angioplasty in the hospital’s new Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory. Now, citizens of our region no longer have to travel to tertiary facilities over an hour away to receive advanced emergency interventional cardiac care.
  • The FMH CyberKnife Center offers advanced radiosurgical capabilities to treat tumors located anywhere in the body with no anesthesia, no pain and no recovery time.
  • The Billy Miller Neonatal Intensive Care Unit provides specialized care to newborns as early as 28 weeks gestational age. Johns Hopkins neonatologists are in house 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

As the Frederick Memorial Healthcare System grows along with the communities it serves, a number of new and exciting programs and services are in development, or ready for implementation.
