Stephanie Reid, R.N., B.S.N., M.B.A., M.H.A.
Chief Nursing Officer

As chief nursing officer, Ms. Reid oversees the nursing, patient experience and patient care support services at the hospital.


Ms. Reid has over 30 years’ experience in health care leadership and joined the Carroll Hospital family in 1992 as a shift coordinator, later serving in various nursing leadership roles, including director of inpatient services, assistant vice president and most recently, as chief nursing officer and vice president of patient care services.

 

A resident of Woodbine, Ms. Reid earned her Associate degree in nursing from Howard Community College and her Bachelor of Science in nursing from College of Notre Dame in Maryland. She also has a master's degree in business administration and healthcare management from Baker College.


Ms. Reid is a member of the Maryland Organization of Nurse Executives, board member for Carroll County Advocacy and Investigation Center, Maryland Nursing Workforce Commission, Maryland Nurses Association, and American College of Surgeons, Commission on Cancer, the American Organization of Nurse Executives, and serves on numerous advisory boards for nursing programs. She has served as a Baldrige Examiner for Maryland Performance Excellence Awards and the Maryland Health Care Exchange Finance and Sustainability Committee.
