Motorcycle Club Five Revs Up in a Big Way to Help Patients at Northwest Hospital’s Samuelson Breast Care Center

Motorcycle Club Five Revs Up in a Big Way to Help Patients at Northwest Hospital’s Samuelson Breast Care CenterMore than three-dozen members of MCVcares, Inc., the charity arm of Motorcycle Club Five in Reisterstown, stopped by Northwest Hospital to present a $25,000 check to benefit patients undergoing treatment and recovery at the Herman & Walter Samuelson Breast Care Center.

Brian White, the president of Northwest Hospital and senior vice president of LifeBridge Health, and Dawn Leonard, M.D., medical director of Samuelson Breast Care Center, accepted the incredible donation and thanked Art Eanet, president of Motorcycle Club Five, and all of the club members for their tireless efforts, time and generosity to make life better for people going through a very difficult time.

MCVcares chooses a worthy cause every year and raises money through a variety of events. Among the group’s 2014 events were its Thanks for Giving Party, the Fall Open Ride, the Demolition Derby: Motorcycle Club Mayhem, and the Spring Fling.

Motorcycle Club Five is a philanthropic, family-oriented club and known as much for helping others as it is for its participants’ love of riding motorcycles.

White and Leonard explained how grateful and humbled they are that MCVcares’ members chose the patients of the Samuelson Breast Care Center as the recipients of their heartfelt endeavors.
