Governor to recognize and thank team members for compassion, caring and perseverance through the COVID-19 pandemic

Governor Larry Hogan will visit residents, patients and staff at Levindale in recognition of National Skilled Nursing Care Week (also known as National Nursing Home Week). The Governor will first present a citation and hand out gifts to residents gathered in Levindale’s Town Center. He will then meet with staff to thank them for their service and hear about their experiences now and in the early days of the pandemic. The residents and staff are creating a welcome banner, and a group of Levindale residents in a drum circle will perform for the Governor. Following the gathering in the Town Center, the Governor will then take a private tour to meet some the patients and staff on the hospital units.

Tuesday, May 10, 2022 (10 a.m.)
