LifeBridge Health to Limit Hospital Visitors Due to COVID-19
Health System Policy Goes Takes Effect 5 p.m. November 20

In keeping with the order from Maryland Governor Larry Hogan, patient visitation at LifeBridge Health hospitals is suspended effective Friday, November 20 at 5pm.

Some exceptions apply:

One (1) designated visitor per patient, per day for:

  • Patients we classify as critically ill (except COVID+ patients)
  • Emergency Department patients (except COVID+ or potential COVID patients)
  • Labor and Delivery patients (must be the same visitor each day)
  • Pediatric patients (must be the same visitor each day)
  • Patients in need of support (e.g. dementia patients)

Patients at end of life (including COVID+ patients) are allowed two (2) visitors.

Patients and families with questions should speak with their care teams.

These changes affect Sinai Hospital, Northwest Hospital, Levindale, Carroll Hospital and Grace Medical Center.

One other note: Levindale and Northwest Hospital’s Sub-Acute Unit will continue to follow the Governor’s order and regulations of Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) and the Maryland Department of Health for long-term care communities.
