Carroll Hospital’s Respiratory Care Department Receives Proclamation from Westminster Mayor

Westminster Mayor Joe Dominick presented associates of the Respiratory Care Department at Carroll Hospital with a proclamation recognizing the essential services of respiratory care practitioners on October 27. The presentation was made in honor of Respiratory Care Week, which took place from October 25 to October 31.
During the presentation, members of the Respiratory Care Department gathered outside the hospital’s main entrance. In attendance was Linda Grogan, executive director of women’s, children’s and surgical services, who oversees the department, and Stephanie Reid, vice president of patient care services and chief nursing officer.

In addition to the proclamation, the mayor’s office treated the respiratory care staff to a lunch that included 25 pre-packed meals that were delivered to the department.

“We are very honored to have received this certificate, recognizing our invaluable work. This pandemic has highlighted the significance of our work as respiratory care practitioners, and we will remain committed to ensuring patients receive the highest quality care in the community,” said Keith Boore, director of respiratory care at Carroll Hospital.

Carroll Hospital, a LifeBridge Health Center, is a nonprofit, acute care facility offering the latest in medical technology, experienced medical professionals in a variety of specialties and a continuum of programs and services to meet the needs of the community.
