Cardiac Prevention Center
With heart disease as the leading cause of death in the U.S., the goal of the Cardiac Prevention Center at the LifeBridge Health Cardiovascular Institute is to offer preventive care that reduces the cases of heart disease and improves the health of the community. At the center, advanced diagnostic tools are used to identify the presence of early vascular disease. Upon diagnosis, cardiovascular patients receive compassionate, personalized treatment from expert physicians.
The Cardiac Prevention Center also offers preventive care such as health screenings and risk factor assessments. Lipid blood tests are provided to detect high and low High Density Lipoprotein (HDL) in the blood. Anti-platelet therapy is also provided to detect acute coronary syndromes.
