Second Opinion Program

Offering Expert Assessment for the Treatment of Rare Tumors

Second Opinion ProgramA medical second opinion is an invaluable resource when you are faced with the difficult choices regarding treatment options for a rare and complex bone or soft tissue tumor.

As one of few cancer centers in the nation with board-certified specialists who treat both adult and pediatric patients, the Comprehensive Bone and Soft Tissue Tumor Center at Sinai Hospital can provide a second opinion in the diagnosis and surgical treatment of sarcomas, including the option of limb-sparing surgery in lieu of amputation.

Our expert adult and pediatric treatment teams are able to render thorough and prompt multidisciplinary opinions for patients and physicians attempting to clarify treatment options.
