Welcome
LifeBridge Health believes that every person should be empowered to take control of their health. Knowing your blood pressure, weight and body mass index (BMI) numbers and keeping them in a healthy range is the first step to managing your health. That is why LifeBridge Health has partnered with Higi -- a health engagement company with a network of Smart Health Stations that allow consumers to track their health via smart phone and on the web. These FDA-cleared, HIPAA-compliant stations are free, accurate and safe to use.
What are some ways to make sure my Higi blood pressure reading is accurate?
Here are some simple tips from the American Heart Association for how to take an accurate blood pressure reading:
- Empty your bladder first, if needed
- Sit up straight with your legs uncrossed and your feet on the ground
- Make sure your arm is bare
- Sit calmly and don’t talk
- If possible, take two readings one minute apart
Make Higi part of your routine. Many common health conditions, like high blood pressure or prediabetes, don’t have obvious symptoms. When you make visiting Higi Stations a part of your routine, you can keep track of your numbers, learn your health risks and identify ways to better manage your health. You’ll also receive helpful tips and product offers from trusted resources.

When your numbers are outside of healthy ranges, it can be a sign of cardiovascular disease, diabetes or other serious health conditions. You may be able to manage your condition by adjusting your diet or adding exercise into your daily routine, but you should discuss your numbers and any related health concerns with your physician.
