The Division of Infectious Diseases, part of the Department of Medicine, offers consultation and care for patients with all types of infectious agents, including bacteria, virus, fungus, and parasites. Physician-directed outpatient services are provided for infectious disease consultation and primary care of HIV-infected patients. Clinic hours have been expanded, and daily clinic sessions are now held. The division is also involved in immunologic research.
