General Internal Medicine
Many of our residents choose to pursue careers as general internists, either in the outpatient or inpatient setting, or sometimes both. Regardless of whether they go into academia or pursue private practice, our graduates consistently feel more than adequately prepared for independent patient management. This is because of the clinical training that they have received and an individualized progression from early supervision to a level of achieved autonomy.
