LifeBridge Health Development

If your heart is in the right place, it affords you appropriate opportunity to do things for others, to express your good will, to let yourself go sentimentally and philanthropically. B.C. Forbes (1880-1954)

For thousands of residents in the greater Baltimore metropolitan area, LifeBridge Health centers are the "facilities of choice" for quality health care delivered with compassion and sensitivity. More than 7,000 LifeBridge Health physicians, nurses and staff members are dedicating their professional lives to making a difference - one patient, one child, one family at a time. The LifeBridge Health non-profit affiliates include: Sinai Hospital, Northwest Hospital, Levindale Hebrew Geriatric Center and Hospital and Courtland Gardens Nursing & Rehabilitation Center.

Philanthropic gifts have become increasingly important to hospitals as the health care environment changes, both in Maryland and across the nation. Managed care, reductions in rate reimbursement and a host of other factors make it difficult for hospitals to continue to stay technologically advanced, expand services, build new facilities and renovate aging ones to provide high-quality patient care in modern comfortable surroundings.

LifeBridge Health is dedicated to maintaining and improving the health of all people. Every contribution, whether from an individual, corporation, organization or private foundation, helps us accomplish this goal. Charitable gifts enable us to improve and expand our medical services while meeting the needs of patients.

By becoming part of our family of supporters you will be upholding a tradition of philanthropy that translates into compassionate, state-of-the art care for our patients and their families. Your gift has the power to touch the life of another. It could cure a child diagnosed with cancer, enable a young person with a limb deformity to walk, comfort a patient waiting for biopsy results or brighten the day for a centenarian confined to her bed.
