What will I do? - Information for Teens

While you are in the hospital you will do many different things. Nurses will take your vital signs every four hours. They will take your temperature, blood pressure, heart rate and respiratory rates. They will also help you take your medicine and may do other lab work.

Depending on your reason for being in the hospital, you may also need to take an X-ray, get a CAT Scan, or another type of test. These tests may seem a bit scary, but don’t worry, they are simply taking pictures of different parts of your body.

In between taking medicine and tests you can visit the playroom for games and activities!
