Rehabilitation Hospital

The Rehabilitation Hospital at Sinai is a 43-bed CARF-accredited center devoted to acute level rehabilitation.

Acute rehabilitation is designed for patients who need and can tolerate an intensive level of therapy services, a minimum of three hours a day.

The primary goal of inpatient rehabilitation is to help patients achieve the necessary functional independence to return home or to another community setting, usually after an acute medical or surgical hospitalization.

Individualized Care

Sinai Rehabilitation Center utilizes a team approach, which allows for an individualized plan of patient care, that is responsive to each patient’s unique needs and circumstances. Family involvement is critical for achieving the best outcomes and is highly encouraged.

All persons served are admitted by an attending physician specialist in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R). Medical management is provided 24/7 by Physical, Medical and PM&R physicians as well as nursing staff. Based on the needs of those we serve, Physical, Occupational and Speech therapy are provided daily.
