Obstetrics and Gynecology Residency Program - Welcome Letter

Dear Resident Applicant,

We would like to welcome you to the Web Site that describes our Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology as a potential Residency Training Site for your future.   We hope you will obtain sufficient information regarding the structure and function of our Department, to decide whether you would like to visit us and participate in the interview process.

The information provided is an overview, and there are many other details that Resident Applicants would obtain if they participate in a formal visit.

Graduate Education is an adherent component of the Mission of our Department, and the LifeBridge HealthCare System.  As such, a great deal of thought, planning and appropriate allocation of resources is assigned to our graduate and undergraduate education programs.  We have experienced administrative and clinical teaching staff who have committed their time and energy to ensure that the needs of our Residents are met.  As a result, we have obtained full accreditation, with long cycles as testament to the quality of our Program.  Our graduating Residents have been successful in their future careers, whether this be in private practice, or pursuing sub-specialty advanced training.

We trust you will give careful consideration to our Program, as you consider where to interview.  We will welcome you and provide you with the information that you need for your decision making process, and wish you well as you interview in the coming months.

Yours Sincerely,

David B. Silverman, M.D.
