The Hackerman-Patz House at Sinai Hospital

The Hackerman-Patz HouseThe Hackerman-Patz House is a comfortable and convenient place to stay—a home away from home—for patients, friends and/or their families.

The Hackerman-Patz House is located on the campus of Sinai Hospital at 2434 West Belvedere Avenue in Baltimore, Maryland.

The staff at the Hackerman-Patz House is dedicated to keeping guests safe and secure, and to helping to create an atmosphere that is as homelike as possible. You will have the freedom to maintain the privacy of your family so that you can draw strength from one another, and, if you choose, the opportunity to find support through interaction with other guests.

Guest suites at the Hackerman-Patz House resemble deluxe hotel rooms. They are equipped with two twin beds, a sitting area, private bath, microwave, refrigerator, coffee pot, room safe, telephone, cable television and a DVD player. Our common areas include a playroom, multi-purpose/computer room, guest laundry, terrace, a large great room and a house kitchen. Eligibility

LifeBridge Health does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion or creed. Vacancies are filled on the basis of availability, personal circumstances and the needs of LifeBridge Health.

Representatives from the hospital review guest eligibility and length of stay. Once eligibility is determined, the director of the house is contacted to complete the reservation process. Length of stay shall not exceed one year and a review of eligibility will be monitored weekly.

Reservations 

Reservations can be made by calling the house at 410-601-5163 Monday through Friday between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. For emergency reservations after hours or on weekends, the director may by contacted by calling 410-258-3110 or by pager at 410-890-0651.

Rooms are assigned on a priority basis and confirmed prior to your arrival. To prevent another family from being turned away unnecessarily, please notify the director promptly if you need to cancel or plan to depart early.

Rates

Please contact the director for a list of current room rates. Payments may be made through cash, check or credit cards (Visa and Mastercard only). Payment must be secured at time of check in. If you are experiencing financial difficulties or must make alternate arrangement for payment, please speak with your social worker prior to your arrival.

Check In/Out

Guests are expected to check out by 12 p.m.

Guests checking in may check in to their room after 12 p.m. or as soon as the room has been cleaned following the departure of the last guest.

The Hackerman-Patz House at Sinai Hospital is a home away from home for patients and their families. Many patients who come to Sinai for treatment stay for a few days or even weeks. The Hackerman-Patz House provides them with a convenient lodging place, right on the Sinai campus.

Although the Hackerman-Patz House offers convenience for families, it means much more than that to them. Here, kids hang with their peers, parents share their joys and struggles and everyone gathers around the big table for evening dinner.
