Interpreters
We offer sign language interpreters and flash cards for the hearing impaired. For non-English speaking patients, we offer interpreters and the AT&T Language Line (interpreters for phone calls). Please ask your nurse to arrange for an interpreter if you require one.
Volunteer Office
Sinai Hospital’s Volunteer department is here to serve you by providing you with magazines, books and other amenities. The Volunteer department is open Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. For more information, please call extension 25007.
Image Recovery Center
The Image Recovery Center, located within the Alvin & Lois Lapidus Cancer Institute at LifeBridge Health, offers a variety of health and beauty services, which includes hand and nail treatments, massage, hair styling, reflexology and facials. The Image Recovery Center is open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. To schedule and appointment, please call extension 24725.
Telephones
You may request a telephone for the hearing impaired or telecommunication devices for the deaf (TDDs). Amplified handsets, larynx protectors and large button phones are available at no extra charge. A TDD is available 24 hours a day at extension 24900.

Sinai Hospital enjoys recognizing staff members who go above and beyond the call of duty. If you would like to nominate someone for STAR recognition, please ask for a ballot form.

It’s important to us that you complete this survey and return it. Please let us know what we did well, and share with us other comments about your stay. Each survey is returned and read by a team from the Customer Service department.
