Esther Krug, MD
Special Interest In: Bone Problems and Women's Health
A native of Russia, Dr. Krug completed her medical studies at the I.P. Pavlov Medical Institute in St. Petersburg prior to serving her residency in internal medicine at St. Francis Medical Center in Pittsburgh. After her fellowship in endocrinology and metabolism at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, she served as a staff endocrinologist at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh, where she had an interest in general endocrinology, diabetes and women’s health issues. Dr. Krug is an Assistant Professor at Johns Hopkins School of Medicine and is a member of the Endocrine Society, the American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists and the American Diabetes Association. Dr. Krug directs the Sinai Hospital Center for Bone Health and has a special interest in managing osteoporosis and and androgen disorders in women.
