Sinai Hospital/Krieger Eye Institute Vitreoretinal Surgical Fellowship Program
In 2013, Sinai Hospital/Krieger Eye Institute (KEI) initiated a two-year surgical and medical training program. The fellowship program is approved by Sinai Hospital and is AUPO compliant. The fellow will gain exposure to virtually all modern modalities of vitreoretinal treatment and surgery. Fellows also participate in care for indigent patients.
The fellowship is customized to meet the individual abilities and interests of each fellow in patient care and research. The fellow is recognized as a physician who has excelled throughout previous training. The fellow’s goal is to make the patient care experience better than it would be in his or her absence, by continuous dedication, attentiveness, compassion and humility. The fellowship offers opportunities in basic and clinical research. Fellows regularly participate in the training of resident physicians.
The KEI Fellowship Program participates in the San Francisco Fellowship Match Program.
