| Description and Goals Of Course: |
The Neurology Division is active in patient care, teaching and research. The student participates actively in our hospital consultation service and out-patient clinics. A neurology resident and medical resident are part of the clinical team. There is a weekly Neuroscience Conference.
Our goals are to improve neurologic examination and diagnostic skills of the student. We offer an intensive experience with a proven track record for student teaching. |

The minimum requirements for acceptance for this elective are a medical school cumulative grade point average of 3.0 (on a 4.0 scale) and a USMLE Step 1 score of 85/205 or a COMLEX score of 80 and completion of the Basic Medicine Clerkship. |
