The Adult Partial Hospitalization/Intensive Outpatient Program (PHP/IOP) is an acute ambulatory program providing up to five hours of direct clinical services per day for adults age 18 and older. It may be used as a step down from or alternative to inpatient hospitalization. The program is group-based, but also provides individual and family therapy as appropriate as well as psychopharmacology services.
