Every year thousands of children miss school every day because they are afraid of being bullied by other students. According to the National Education Association, one in three American schoolchildren in sixth through tenth grade is affected by bullying. Bullying includes a wide range of behaviors, from physical attacks and verbal name calling to spreading nasty rumors. It also includes cyber bullying, which can include posting on social media sites, sending text messages and bullying in chat rooms.
