Brachymetatarsia is a condition in which the bone in a toe doesn't grow as long as a normal bone. If it is not taken care of, it can cause bunions, hammer toes, pain and can impact a person's balance. Not only is help available, but Bradley Lamm, D.P.M., of the Rubin Institute for Advance Orthopedics at Sinai Hospital of Baltimore has a natural method of correcting the deformity. He can lengthen a patient's own bone so that there are no screws or plates left behind in the foot.
