Bowleg-Tibia Vara
This 20-year-old woman with bowleg began to have knee pain from the abnormal loading forces on her knees caused by the accentuated curve in the tibia.


 After surgery, both legs were straight and the knee symptoms had resolved.
Radiograph obtained before treatment. The fixator-assisted nailing technique and focal dome osteotomy were used to correct the bones with internal rods. Radiograph obtained after treatment.
